Foster Fest on Foster Street in downtown Dothan from 6pm – 9:30pm. Held on the third Friday in June-November 2013, Foster Fest is a free downtown evening celebration. Foster will be closed for through traffic and lined with antique cars, while citizens enjoy the shops, vendor booths, festivities, music and drinks. Dancing With the Stars, Dothan Style at the Dothan Civic Center beginning at 7pm. Benefitting the Dothan-Houston County Substance Abuse Partnership, this annual event pairs local celebrities with area professional dancers for a fundraising and dance competition on the stage of the Dothan Civic Center. Tickets are on sale at the DCC box office for $15 (upper balcony seating) or $25 (lower balcony). In addition, seating at tables at floor level is being sold to corporations, groups of individuals or businesses. Cocktail attire is encouraged but not mandatory.
