August 21, 2014 The 3 R’s: Living Green

The Wiregrass Master Gardener Association and the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens invite you to a summer seminar,  “The 3 R’s:  Living Green” on Thursday, August 21 from 9:00 AM until noon.  Guest speaker and instructor is Kimberly Ylitalo, lover of all things having to do with recycling and compost.  The workshop will include demonstrations on how to make your own laundry soap, refashioning tote bags from t-shirts, and how to make a compost bin out of simple materials.  Receive a free recipe booklet for DIY lotions and cleaning potions.  Come and be inspired to recycle, learn some “good stuff”, and have lots of fun. There will be free samples, door prizes and light refreshments.  Admission is $10.00, payable at the door but reservations are requested.  Please call DABG 334-793-3224.  Checks may also be mailed to DABG, 5130 Headland Ave., Dothan, AL 36303

August 22, 2014-September 23, 2014 Yard Party for Art
