Circulation and Readership

The paid circulation of Dothan Magazine is made up of a steady-growing base of subscribers along with retail sales in over 75 prime locations around the Dothan area that have been selected to best target our affluent readership. In addition to our paid circulation, complimentary issues of the magazine are distributed in waiting rooms and lobbies of the hospitals, professional offices and other prime locations for maximum exposure. Copies are made available to the Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce for distribution to newcomers and business inquiries. Other areas of distribution include advertisers, the Newcomers Club, hotels, civic organizations, churches and other non-profit organizations.

Unlike some other forms of advertising, a publication such as Dothan Magazine is not usually read and thrown away. Because of the nature of the content (including the dining guide and calendar of events) our readership will look over the publication numerous times before the next issue is published and will usually keep back issues on hand for others to read. For every copy distributed, an average of over four people will read it. We currently have an estimated readership of 20,000.
