Tres Maley, Business Manager

Tres Maley joined Dothan Magazine in July of this year as our Business Manager. Tres  (pronounced “trace,” in case you’re wondering) oversees the mountain of paperwork involved in publishing this bi-monthly city magazine. Tres has sunk his teeth into the organizational challenge of making sure all of Dothan Magazine’s billing, subscriptions and advertising agreements are maintained. Tres also serves as a United Way Loaned Executive and a Dothan Area Chamber of Commerce  Ambassador. Originally from Jackson, Mississippi, Tres and his wife, Nikki, have two young children and were looking for a family-friendly community where they could call home. “We fell in love with Dothan the first time we visited here,” says Tres. Tres, 33, is a Business Finance graduate of Mississippi State University, though we try not to hold that against him. He previously spent nine years working in several Mississippi hospitals as a manager in contracted healthcare food service. In 2003 he earned the “Director of the Year” award from his company which operates in 65 hospitals across 13 states. Tres’ parents own Maley Swim School back home in Jackson, the only year-round indoor swimming school in the state of Mississippi. “I can swim pretty well, but not competitively,” says Tres. He “sparingly” plays both the guitar and piano and enjoys live music and jazz. Contact Tres Here.
