Patrick hails from the small Midwestern town of Fremont, Nebraska. After moving to Florida in the mid 1980s, he and his wife, Glenda, began a very successful sales career together.
Their sales journey brought them to Dothan in 1996 to start American Classifieds (formerly known as Thrifty Nickel). In 2001, P.A.L. Media Services was started as a printing, delivery and specialty advertising company. In the summer of 2009, Patrick purchased Dothan Magazine.
Patrick is grateful to the city of Dothan for how good it has been to his family, which is why he dedicates countless hours of service and financial contributions to various non-profit organizations throughout Dothan.
A native of Covington, Louisiana, Nick came to Dothan in the summer of 2000 to take a graphic design position with the Dothan Eagle.
He joined Dothan Magazine as Managing Editor / Art Director in November of 2005. He also worked with ad agencies to create award-winning logos, illustrations and graphics for many clients and special projects around town. He has served as Editor / Art Director of the magazine since the summer of 2009.
Nick is married to Laura Vanlandingham. Their lives are ruled by an adorable rat terrier, Lilith, and a giant orange tabby cat, Lestat. In his spare time Nick obsesses over certain movies, TV shows, computer games, his film score collection and deadlines.
